And X3's not working again. Now it crashes when I go into a certain sector. The previous graphics drivers wouldn't even let me enter. So I went back to the previous drivers and now I can fly into it and then it crashes. And I have a mini-empire going, with my flagship being the Xenon LX http://www.elite-games.ru/images/x3/ships/lx.jpg . Need 2 more 24MJ shields for it though.

sounds like a too-many-objects problem - is it a standard sector or a mod sector? Prob just a badly written object in that sector or overloading the drivers.

Still, if you will go for these cheapo plastic Radeon cards...

I think it was a dodgy driver install, so I went back to the previous ones. And then the ones before that. It still crashes occasionally but it's no worse than Morrowind

I think I've finally stopped windows hanging on start-up! An issue that has been plaguing me over half-term. The bluetooth adapter seems to have been causing classpnp.sys to cause my computer to hang on start-up. Googling the problem it appears that it's a problem related to drivers. The bluetooth adapter came with drivers form Trust, which I installed and found that they didn't work. So I uninstalled them, which was when the hanging at startup occurred. Uninstalling the "Unknown Device" in device manager and then pulling the bluetooth adapter out and re-inserting it has seemed to solve the problem.

And if Windows gives me any more error messages which simply start "The program has stopped working" I'm going to kill it. I can see that the program has stopped working. I'm sat here looking at my desktopas opposed to playing my games. Why is the "show more details" option not enabled by default?

And I'm sure Microsoft is trying to get me to install Updates for Defnder and It's Malicious Software Removal tool. I keep hiding the updates. Take the hint! I have a malicious software removal tool thanks very much. And I have taken great pains to try and stop Defender and Firewall and Update from running at start-up Not that you can stop it completly
