Happy Birthday to me...
Happy Birthday dear meeee...
Happy Birthday to me
Well, strictly speaking, I am reliably informed (by someone who was close to the action!) that I was born at 1:40am, so I have about an hour and a half before I really hit 33, but I'm not sitting up that late just to get the timing right... and I'm off to a barbeque tomorrow with some friends (one of whom is 25 today, by a strange coincidence, so it's likely to be a bit of a wild session!)
Not that a 33rd birthday is much to shout about, but it's my birthday, and I'll shout if I want to, so there!
Happy Birthday to me...

Obviously typing just after midnight confuses the heck out of me... there's a bit of 'tomorrow'/'today' confusion there. Everything refers to Saturday 19 May, 2001...
I need to buy a new watch or a calendar or something
Happy Birthday to me...

Happy Birthday to You.
I am new here, though I made a bit of a splash with my first Guide entry, since I managed to con Douglas Adams into touring the Disney studio when I still worked there.
"How did you do that?" the other Mouse House workers asked me.
"I went to his website and asked him." I replied.
Soooo...
I was amused by your entry. (And I use a lot of parentheses when writing and, I suspect, talking.)
Drop by the Hamster's cage and watch your step...
Cheers
Happy Birthday to me...

Thank you
I only wish I'd hung around longer the first time I came here (if I remember correctly, I registered either on the night it first went live or very shortly after, which explains my relatively low researcher number...)
Nice con, getting Douglas to visit your workplace... I don't think he'd have been as impressed with mine... too many PCs, not a Macintosh in sight
Are you an artist or animator then? My brother is an artist, but unfortunately that's not where my talents lie, I'm more of a 'left brain' type of person I guess. He does the art, I code his web-page... between the two of us, we get something semi-useful done...
You're the first person so far to publically admit to visiting my page, and I was secretly worried that the first visitor would say "What are you wibbling on about you daft person?" I was hoping it was amusing, but then you never can tell if anyone else is going to get the joke
Anyway, I'm off to this barbeque in about ten minutes, so I'd better make sure my hair is combed and my attire is suitably adjusted...
When I get back, I'll roll up my trousers, pop on my wellies and have a stroll over to the cage...
See you later
Happy Birthday to me...

Hello there.
As a matter of fact I am a rather well known animator with a great deal of experience and a longstanding detestation of Los Angeles, which I consider to be Hell on EArth.
I have worked in four countries. Mostly to avoid going to Los Angeles. And since I also love travel, it afforded me the means to live in places like London and Paris for a year or so without going bankrupt.
I thought your posting was amusing. How long have you had the 'greetings' up? The Loony Toons monicker also amused me because I have directed Bugs Bunny. He's nothing like the way he is on screen, you know...
At any rate, I am now at a very strange and old city and wondering how I managed to wind up as a collidge perfeser after all these years.
But then the universe does not turn out the way we imagine it. I told another ex Disneyite that the Universe definitely has a sense of humor. Unfortunately it isn't a very nice one.
Hope you had a good time at the barbecue.
Cheers
Fred the I. H.
