You got my psychic message! Yay!
...*tosses Kitty several pounds of fish-cicles...*
Mac needs an upgrade so I am unable to receive or send E's!!
I jusss hate when that happens!
Have you completed your studies?
I've been writting. I've had several things published in boring places but am w*rking a a few books.I get bored with one and go on to the other.
I swear.(yes, I do...at times) I swear I was 'just' telling a friend about you and how the cave cat 'just' fit in the pool and my room!
I have no idea why I was looked at in such an odd way. I must have had spinich in my teeth or sumthin'!
Welcome Home! Cheers!

I'm supposed to complete by the end of September, but am scheduled to overrun to about Christmas. So far my DPhil(1) thesis numbers 56 pages (out of a max 250) and I have another chapter's worth of data to analyse.
I hate writing, well thesis writing. I haven't been doing much fiction writing recently either. Lots of embroidery. I've gained a niece since I was last here, and a niece or nephew is on their way, to get here about March. The embroidery was for little Anna Sofia and took about 17 months to do.
I'm also about to take up driving lessons - my mother will give me her old car if I can drive before she replaces it. I took lessons at 17 but hated it and quit when the instructor made a pass at me.
(1)DPhil = Oxford Uni for PhD i.e. doctoral

...*tries to hug Kitty and is knocked to the floor and licked until soaked...* I missed you too! We'll have to ask if you can come for a stay...after all, it has been a looong time since you've been to your favorite cave here.Although I do worry when you take off. Here try actually 'tasting' this one.

A...I've forgotten how to make the A/E...
...Anyway...I know where you can get a couple hundred pages of a doctoral thesis.
I jusss knew if I got ANY letters after my name I would chuck all that busy w*rk. I am a Ch.T. (Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist)
Everyone keeps saying, "That's not the same as being a doctor".
Really? Thanks for telling me.
Embrodery is awsome! My friend Sue made a picture of me with all sorts of animals around my feet!! She even sticthed my Native name: Two Feathers on it. I'm afraid my bi-lateral carple tunnel won't allow such things...not that I'd do it otherwise.
Kool being an Auntie ain't it? When the kids were little I always sang Pink Floyd songs to um...I have absolutely no idea why they all like to rock-n-roll.

The instructions on making an Æ are available on my user page, still.
erm.. are the couple of hundred pages on the topic of "The Tropical Tropopause", because if not, I doubt my examiners will like them.
Ah... I'm an MSci ARCS MInstP already. I'm aiming for DPhil (Oxon)
As for embroidery, I'm doing Beatrix Potters at the mo. Slowly.
As for neices singing - at the moment, it's "If you're happy and you know it" repeatedly. Luckily, she lives in Italy.

...*claps her hands...*
Guess my w*rk on Traumatic Memory wouldn't wash. Dang. You could always change your topic!...*ducks for cover*
I also have one started on Cell Memory...guess that woudn't help much either. I knew I should have followed my
and become a marine biologist.

I've just had a good look at you page. I'd forgotten
most of wht I just re-read. I was also surpised to find some of my stuff there. ...*whispers...* Geez my speeling sucks! My sister always asks, "Where where YOU durning spelling class?!"
An' I always tell her "THIS" is where I was!--->
I'd turn the spell check thingie on...but then I'd be stopped every other word.
Are you doing, have you done the Guide thing this year??? I know how much fun you've had in the past. As a matter of fact, that was one of the things that made me think of you, just before you returned...I was speaking to a freind who did pretty much the same thing with 'inner city kids'...and you came to mind.
Then you popped back into action!

Which bits had you forgotten?
And which bits of yours, apart from the Court? [and why did it die?]
I'm not sure I get the spelling reference - what did you mispell and where?
I've been doing lots of the Guide thing. If you take a look at the NetGuides site, you can see it has come on in leaps and bounds. We have 12 Guides and over 30 Senior Section members (that's 14-25 year olds) - in fact, it has really struck a chord with Senior Section, because they are the types who move lots and move to college/university and there aren't a lot of Seniors units in the country anyway. We also have a whole Brownie (7-10 year olds), and they are quite hard to recruit because there are lots of Brownie units around, so less need for us, and if there is need for us, the parents really really need to support them and few parents will put in that much effort. I love Guiding. I've reduced my Guiding while I am writing the thesis - I am not being a Guider with 10th North Oxford Guides, but continuing with NetGuides.
I've just taken up driving lessons, so don't come to Oxfordshire for a bit, the roads are a little more dangerous
You're still in that log cabin, aren't you?
You know, I still haven't got around to reading Little House on the Prairie, or that book by her sister you reccomended and the name of which I have forgotten. Do you recall it?
I'm shivering. Ganesh (my BF) forgot to get the washing in, so I've just been out to bring it in. The stars are gorgeous, but it's c-c-c-c-cold. Went punting this afternoon - I'm sure you'd love punting, *everyone* would love punting. Even *I* love punting and I have a long-standing terror of water.
*goes to get some hot chocolate*
The Return Of Ændr & Kitty

Ændr, very nearly everything I write has typos and/or spelling errors. Which use to keep me from writing. However, after having several of my works stolen, I thought, what the hay...if it's good enough to steal & sell...may as well give it the good ole' college try. I jusss love editors.
Follow The River by James Alexander Thom is a true ordeal of Mary Ingles'. I PROMISE this is a quick read. It's one of those books you cannot put down and then stays with you. I actually followed this woman's path with full gear and decided to go around a clif she climbed bare handed! Of course, my life wasn't at stake...Just that I HAD climbed such things in the past and came up with many wounds. What she did really blows my hair back!
Whenever I don't have to keep writing stuff to keep the logs around me...I would love to take my time and do a good screen play from the story. I've already decided what the book lacks and what I can do to 'improve' what bothers me.
A few years ago I taught my mother-in-law how to drive.
50 and the first time behind a wheel. I think my nail marks must still be in the dashboard.
I also taught my nephew to drive. The only thing new drivers really do wrong is hold the wheel too tightly.
The first time I was in a place where "they" drive on the 'wrong' side of the street...I decided that before I rented a car it would be a good idea to hail a taxi and sit behind the driver and pretend I was driving....Let's just say after doing that a couple times, I walked or hired a car.
c-c-c-c-cold? Awwww...I took the dog out & put her through her paces today whilst I lay in the hammock. I very nearly went swimming this evening! TV actually kept me in. There were wonderful old shows on and later a show titled:Jews and Arabs.
Then several people and their view with regard to Plato & so on.
Honestly, the only thing I miss not living in a city is culture. Of course there are many ways to obtain it...it's just easier to lie in the hammock and debate myself.
Oh, I very nearly forgot...here's a new party hat for you!
;;;;;
I do hope it isn't too 'over the top', s it were.

I'm going with a professional instructor. It's going to cost £20 an hour, which is a lot of money seeing as my grant has just run out. But they should be able to keep their fear to themselves...
My boyfriend is going to supervise my practise; I just hope it doesn't damage our relationship...
ooh, thanks for the hat... I'd better wear sunglasses with it though.

Of course!
That's alot of oysters you're shelling out to learn to run people off the road! Geez. But, if it gets you where you want to be...thasss about all that matters.
Just do EVERYthing your BF tells you to do whenever he's in the car w/you...and then do as you like when he isn't. It's all about compr...okay, it's a lie!!! It's all a lie! <-- key to a good long relationship!
