Giving up Smoking

Okay. I've had enough. I'm giving up smoking. I only restarted smoking last year after ten years of abstaining.
I've read the h2g2 page How to give up Smoking - http://www.h2g2.com/A293401. I've bought the Nicotine patches.
I now need willpower and distraction. Working at h2g2 is fairly distracting, I share a room with three totally 'cooky' guys, Sam, Ashley and Mark. The music has been dead cool today; we've had Donovan's Greatest Hits; Led Zepplin II; Bob Dylan, Highway 61 Revisited; The Beatles, Rubber Soul and Who's Better, Who's Best.
Keep distracting me guys. I'll get there in the end...

Chocolate biscuits, cups of tea and TLC. That has to be the answer...

Just to reiterate the "hold your breath and the craving will subside" thing - its true - it does...and also when you turn blue people tend not to bother you for a while

Careful. This argument leads you up some very dubious paths, but at least gumboot dancing will be distracting (to your office mates at least)
