I'm off to Rye for a long weekend of walking, country pubs and passion; hopefully not in that order! 
It's a pity to miss the h2g2 party - the first one I've ever missed 
- but I'm sure the community members will have a wonderful time without me... 
I look forward to catching up with all the party gossip when I get back.

I had a lovely holiday! 
Rye is a really gorgeous English town, perched on a hill, all timbered houses and cobbled streets, very cute indeed.
We went for several all day walks over the hills and over the flat salt plains, visited some castles and ate cream teas.
