I'm an ACE, which basically means I've volunteered for the 'official' job of meeting and greeting newcomers to the guide - a 'welcome mat' as someone said. I think they were being sarcastic when they did say it, but it's a fair description I guess. Except that not all of us are flat and hairy...

sorry for the delay in replying, i only just noticed the post, and any poor spelling etc that may follow. thanks for the welcome mat. i have clean feet. well, shoes then. i do have a question though, is there any form of real time discussion? like a chat room or the like?
i use napster and i do enjoy a bit of heated debate. its just that i get a bit fed up of 15teen yr old americans.
another point regarding the censorship, could we not combine my above suggestion and have an 'arguement room'? (you know, like that monty python sketch) i think it could be quite popular.

No, there's no real time at all... if you want to talk in real time it's best to use a seperate messenging service.
Well... there are probably quite a few american 15 year-olds here - but there are a lot more other ages of other nationalities... *grin* take me for example- I'm 16 living in Britain!

Tell her what your idea is and explain why you think it's a good idea. It may create a heated discussion as well, the way things are at the moment...
