i don't quite know where USC sends its foreign exchange students... i'd REALLY like to go to edinburgh, scotland, but i don't know if my mom will let me. she /really/ wants me to study in france.... i think so she has an excuse to go visit me. *rolls eyes*

No, they're not - you're thinking of chairs. Corners are great things for joining two surfaces together at an angle.
