I've got it, too
The Cheese Started conversation Jul 22, 2001
Yeah, I'm straight edge. Not exactly the most popular imaage where I'm from: as an American in high school, 80% of my classmates are out drinking at least once a month and 60% are smoking pot.
However, I say f**k that lifestyle. I have fun when I can remember it the next day, not when I realize six weeks later that I got some girl that I dont know pregnant - and can't even remember the details of the night. That very scenario happened to the brother of a close friend of mine - it changed his life and majorly f**ked it up as well.
On a lighter note: of all the things that I am, being sXe pisses off my parents the very least.

Wow! I didn't know you were sXe, Cheese.
Your reasons for being sXe sound very similar to mine. As I see you're a fan of punk and Weezer, I (a) reccommend that you listen to some Minor Threat and (b) will ask you what you thought of the Green Album.
Listen to Minor Threat.
What did you think of the Green Album?

The Cheese Posted Jul 22, 2001
Actually, I haven't bought the Green Album yet....since I've had enough money to buy it, I havent gotten the opportunity.
But, I will say that I'm relatively unimpressed with "Hash Pipe."

Well, I was very unimpressed with almost all of it. From another band, it'd be a fairly enjoyable guitar-pop record... but from Weezer? It's no Pinkerton or Blue Album - save your money!

In that case, I'll take your advice and buy something else. CDs are expensive enough, it really sucks to buy a crappy one.

SEA can't talk because of Big Bandwagon so she's book marking the conversation.
Sometimes I wish Rivers had smashed REMs album as well...

Ah, I thought that might've been what she was going.

soeasilyamused, or sea Posted Jul 28, 2001

It's a shame that the Big Bandwagon has occurred at a point when I'm completely and utterly sick of Big Brother (which has now finished in the UK, thankfully).

It is indeed.
They're exams taken at the end of the sixth-form... er... they let those of us who want to get into Universities, if we're lucky.
I was lucky!
