h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I wondered if anyone else remembers n2g2. It was before the BBC took over H2G2 and I met 2legs on there before hootoo. There must be others in hootoo land who remember it. I know there is a version on Yahoo still called n2g2 and I confess ,though a member I don't contribute as often as I should.
My memory may be playing tricks but I have a feeling it was an American server and it either shut down or started to charge money. Maybe someone else can remember what happened to it,it was still going when hootoo started on the BBC servers.
I won't be around much as not at all well and I am busy writing a book.I was approached last year by a publisher to write an academic book and because I was too ill had to say no. However I decided to write a book about what I would like to write about so wish me luck they will accept that instead when it's finished.If they don't I've enjoyed the writing anyway so nothing lost
to all be good to yourselves.

I vaguely remember it Tabs...but that's about all, I'm signed up to the yahoo group too, but never do owt on it.

N2G2 was set up during rupert for all us addicts to have somehere to go to it stands for nowhere 2 go 2 i unsed to be on it in my last incarnation but after they fixed everything and H2G2 came back i never botherd with it.

apparently I am not Pheloxi.I am not in with the in crowd so don't count. not that bothers me but it's the fact lots of people are no longer contributing because of the in crowd. Still hootoo has always been a bit cliquey.I have had a lot of emails that have made me realise I don't belong here anymore. But I still have friends here so will keep my page open and pop in sometimes. you have my email and I will keep in touch
