It's never stopped raining for weeks it seems. My back garden is a lake and I'm a bit worried about the drain in the front garden.May have to build a raft from the old wood at the bottom of the garden.
All those poor people stuck on the motorway all night and my heart goes out to those whose homes have been flooded..it will take months to get their lives back together
Oedipus seems to have grown velociraptor claws on his back feet, with not going out much to wear them down, so yesterday I dug out the claw clippers from the bottom of a drawer and proceeded to stalk him.I managed to get one done before he escaped and then Nessie cornered him and I did the rest. I hasten to pint out,this doesn't hurt and is like clipping your nails,you just have to careful not to cut them back to the living bit, like your own nails.The howls of complaint that followed,and he had to have treats and cuddles.The fact he is now walking better and seems a lot happier seems to have not registered.I am still the guilty party.He sat with his back to me last night
Baggins has taken advantage of the bad weather to snooze 23 hours a day as opposed to 22.Nothing new there!
Nessie is still taking her driving lessons and has got her loan approved to study for her MSc in plant molecular something ...researching mutant plants basically.
And me well I'm just plodding along...nothing good happening and still fighting on all fronts..the bank rang this week ..sigh...But I'm still here and trying to keep smiling
to all. Have a good and dry weekend.

maybe someone accidently pulled out the plug .Got their foot caught in the chain. It must be down south somewhere as they are sinking first.

It's been done a few times. The last one was when they were clearing part a canal during restoration work. They found a chain.. and pulled it!!!..

They should think themselves lucky, could have been Prof on the end.
