2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

off to hospital in the morning smiley - yawn - for testosterone injection, moved back to 12 weekly weekly injection, from the 14 week spacing, as I think I was getting too low between injectionms by the ends of the 14 weeks...

Oddly the endo consultant, just agreed, seemingly not even looking at my recent bloods or anything...

Must try talk to the specialist nurse tomorrow, about how weird the Dr was at my last clinic app, and seek some hope that I might persuade someone at the hospital to run extra tests for my thyroid stuff, and figure out if I should restart taking the levothyroxin, just feeling somuch better (so far), almost one week now not taking it)... - having said which, my blood levels oughta have not actually dropped much yet despite not taking any in that time...

Brother popped in for a visit yesturday, first time seieng him in ages.. we went to the pub in the afternoon, and drank beers, and ate a new invention of the pub's chef; 'war pigs' - oversized, sort of triangular sausage rolls smiley - drool that were very good smiley - drool

Gym this morning, elyptical, then leg press machine, single leg, and duel leg presses...
Then weights, squats, hack squats, hack squats with shoulder shrugs... shoulder shrugs, curls, tricep curls, overhead press, upright row, etc., etc., smiley - puff

Bacon on toast for breakfast, sausages with bulghur wheet, mushrooms, spices and onions etc, for lunch... smiley - zen
probably fish for dinner tonight smiley - fishsmiley - fish

did towel laundry yesturday smiley - towelsmiley - zen
might pop to pub tonight after dinner smiley - alesmiley - stout
so quiet out today, traffic, and very little footfall heading into town/city smiley - weird

Speaking of Xmas shopping, you've inspired me to drop by Lush today to find something for my smiley - angel mother who wants nothing. I don't think she takes many actual baths, but they have some shower thingies I noticed. Still, may have to get a few bombs as well. I didn't know how active they are until I saw a YouTube vidya of someone trying out "Harry Potter Sorting Hat Bath Bombs". You don't know which colour, and therefore which house, the bath bomb will be until it froths up in the bathtub. smiley - coolsmiley - weirdsmiley - magicsmiley - wizard

Speaking of smiley - towelsmiley - towel I just bought a few because some of the old ones had become see-through.

The new ones are made of 60 percent cotton and 40 percent - bamboo fibres!

I thought they were kidding me, but they are GREAT!

Now to see how long they will last me.

Oo, bamboo is nice! Our sheets are bamboo, and they're silky and cool in the summer/warm in the winter.

OOo... we need some new towels too, soon... the hand towels have really worn out a lot more than the bath towels/sheets smiley - dohsmiley - zen

Well hospital went well...

They took bloods, then a new nurse who's not been there long, prepared and gave me the testosterone IM injection smiley - yikes - I was a little nervous, as I figured an unexperienced smiley - nurse wouldn't have the technique quite off pat, for the intramuscular testosterone injection; its about the most viscous injectible that is used, and has to be injected ultra-slow, in order to create a depo injection of the viscous oily mixture... - but I always figure new nurses have to learn stuff, eventually by practising on patients, and as I rarely feel it, and just don't get bothered by needles or pain anymore, she might as well practise on me... smiley - wow - spot on, right in the 'gap' between the muscle sheets and she did it so slow, I didn't get the useual odd feeling of the muscles being forced apart by the depo smiley - cool

Then spoke to the smiley - seniorsmiley - nurse who normally does my testo injections, about last weeks consult with the dr... smiley - erm

its so much easier when I just bipass the incompetant Drs smiley - zen - smiley - nurse has put on the hospital system a blood test request, for me to do (when I feel its appropiate), to assess my thyroid levels, TSH/T3/T4, once I've been off the levothyroxin long enough, to clear the synthetic thyroid meds from my system; in order to assertain, if I can regain inate production of TsH and thereby T4/T3 smiley - zen - she agrees, unlike the Drs, that my absolutely inverse/reverse reaction to the meds, does rather indicate something odd is going on.... such as I've been misdiagnosed, or have regained pituitary function smiley - zen

Bus smiley - bus back to towen, and went to supermarket, and did our Xmas shop, in 18 minutes smiley - zen for £30 smiley - zen

That leaves just some veg, regular foods, and the lamb, to buy over the weekend from nearby at the local independant shops smiley - zen

noticed the testosterone injection affecting me, before I'd put my trousers back on smiley - blush - no... not that* reaction to it smiley - laugh - the neurological affects, as my spatial awereness, hearing, alertness, etc., improved, as it affected the CNS//brain smiley - zen

felt odd walking through town afterwards; I was aware of where the ground was, and where my feet were smiley - huhsmiley - alienfrown - and no, I wasn't aware I'd become unaware of that, as, I assume, the last injection wore off smiley - alienfrown

now.... to go to the pub tonight... or not... - I've a feeling it might be horribly busy out with tinsil drinkers smiley - wahsmiley - alesmiley - run

That's good that the testosterone is still working well for you smiley - ok

Also good news that the smiley - nurses are listening to you even if the smiley - doctors are not... That sounds very hopeful about the test that has been ordered smiley - ok Glad you're feeling better from not taking the levothyroxin smiley - ok

I'm impressed by your xmas shopping skills smiley - biggrin I'm sure you will enjoy your Christmas Dinner smiley - oksmiley - cracker

Ahh... but, the secret to hastle free Xmas shopping... Is basically to ignore the whole festive period, as much as possible, and not go over the top with grocery and other shopping... about the only slightly off normal things we have in, is a jar of gherkins and some stilton smiley - laughsmiley - zen

I'll just have to see what happens with my thyroid, will try give it as long as possible, before having the blood test, give time for the synthetic drugs to leave my system, and, if its able too, give time for the pituitary and thyroid glands, to kick in as much as possible smiley - zensmiley - grovel
