2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Started conversation Dec 24, 2017
last day at the gym today for a while.... Enforced two day break as the gym is closed but no fear I've got my exercise ball
Exercised on the exercise ball this morning, before gym, and cooked W and I a big Xmas eve breakfast before gym.... basically a protein overload, which is no bad thing..... Lamb sausages, bacon, eggs and mushrooms, and toast went to the gym for about an hour and a half, abs, lat pull down, seated rowing, exercise bike, bench press, bicep curls, reverse grip bicep curls, deadlifting, squats, shoulder shrugs, dips, inclined bench press machine, and some other stuff... then . . . didn't really do much else today,
shall put the ham/gammon joint in to cook in the morning, start off bread making, (pita), then pop briefly to the pub sometime early afternoon (its open 12 until 2 PM)
my sense of balance is improving a lot, having started doing these exercises on the exercise ball... suddenly 'tree' yoga pose is simples to do even with my leg resting a lot higher up my thigh than I ever could before, as I've gotten a lot more flexible I've named the ball 'Wilson', for obvious reasons
didn't have much for lunch today, after the 700 KCal breakfast, and did a fairly light evening meal, a spicey pilaf, chicken and mushrooms, which we had some plain yoghurt with, and a pile of pickled chilis
Epic bath soon, asides anything else, need the magnesium from the epsum salts I think ATM plus a dragons egg, or on eof the new bath jelly bombs plus probably some rose oil and the magnesium salts
Last night was fun at the pub... not busy but so full of very drunk regulars and a few who if I didn't know better I'd imagine were not just* fuelled by the alcohol but by other substances as well
got home from pub last night, just before 1 #AM; the hairdressors nextdoor was still cutting hair! - and he's in there today, and I think still cutting hair now (well he was still cutting earlier this evening)

I had a brazilian haircut the day before ne years. That is to say the lady cutting my hair is from Brazil. Her scissors stayed well above my waist, thank Bob

I know a Brazilian hair stylist. She's a leathery biker chick as well. She dated a retired friend of mine briefly. She was too adventurous for him... sexually.
The worst hair cut I ever got was from an Italian woman at one of those hair stylist chain franchises. She had rather shaky hands, I suspected either too much coffee or not enough. She began the haircut by trimming one "lane" of hair from ear to ear and the other from front to back. She then attempted to even up the quadrants. When I got out of the shower the next morning I noticed I had basically a reverse of a widow's peak with two points coming down on either side of my eyes... And one side was an inch and a half lower than the other.
Seriously, where did she learn that method!?

Not in my grandpa's salon, that's for sure. He was a very respected man in my home town and as such responsible for the fact that I was never allowed to wear long hair like what The Beatles and The Rolling Stones had

Most if not all of my haircuts since not being a child, were free... on the NHS... first time by a razor before cutting my head open.... then... 24 years later I got my hair cut curtasy of the chemo drugs - plus DQ kindly paid for me to have a haircut when she visited here, at the end of 2015, in an actual hairdressors! - first time I'd been in an hairdressors since I was.... about 12 years old mind, I did get it cut again in a hairdressors, err.... year before last I think, then once again, last year as it is now
well, we had on more forced absence from the gym, as they were closed new years day, but we did go on new years eve, before heading to a lesbian disco/rave, in the evening, until 2.30 AM on new years day... then I had to sit up with a friend, drinking his red wine and champaign, until 5.30, to celibrate his new years day 60th birthday new years day got us a decent 95 minute walk though, for exercise, and today we were back in the gym I think I may have consumed a little bit too much booze over Christmas, mainly new years eve - must brave getting on the scales again soon
Off from gym Thursday as I've a hospital appointment early in the morning, to have another heart scan thing, then see the cardio Dr... and probably be told off again for exercising and gym then next week have an endocrine clinic app on the Friday so will have to miss one of my personal trainer sessions unless we can reschedule the PT at the gym for the afternoon
