oops. seemed the anchient win XP machine had reached the end of its unnatural.... so I have a shiney new laptop of the windows 10 flavour, called Bruce. which |I'm trying to figure out how to use this may take some time = still using demo of the screenreader for now, will endeavour to purchase a licence for it at the start of the week, so I can try get somewhere with this rediculus world of hiding away any useful windows setting one might want to find | also this laptop keyboarde may take a bit to get used too but I expect I shall manage. in otter news, got a new pair of trainers for the gym; as I have shrunk down to a size 8.5 now - was always a 9, then went to a 10, and now shrunk to a 8.5. in termns of non shrinking bits, also got myself a new sportsbra, for running. was at gym today as it happened, but no jogging today, just weights

Welcome back to the virtual world!
We had missed you and were wondering where you were.
Good luck with Windows 10. It's not all bad, and it's probably improved with regard to the screenreader once you get used to it. Let's hope your work on trying out all those beta versions has helped them improve the software.
My laptop is getting really slow, although I've deleted loads of files and moved loads more to an external hard drive. I'm loathe to do a complete reset though, and in Windows 10, haven't figured out how to defrag a drive - can you even do that these days?

nothing wrong with a good punishment - one big advantage now, having upgraded; I can edit back as I type to correct mistakes as I make them; as my previous screenreader, PC, and hence OS and brouser were so anchient, combined they didn't really support or work with modern internet-ness... - I just kept it going with sticky tape also, I'm having to concentrate more ATM, getting used to this new keyboard; so probably typing more accurate, or at least carefully
went to the gym today. ouch... either I turned really unfit overnight, or, either, the beer last night or sodium/electrolight balance of my blood was really skwiffy nethertheless did the useual cardio on the exercise bike, and 40 minutes weight lifting plus a ton of stretches.... - so nearly got my left and right legs able to both bend as far,- it appeared one was really tensed up when I first started exercise, and the tendoms have taken months to try stretch them out enough - just think.... all this getting fitter.... more supple.... I oughta be able to flex and bend my body in all manner of new and .... interesting directions ... for.... various purposes
