OK. so this year, earlier on, I discovered avocados and I'm addicted to them... rarely goes by a week now without a couple of days of haivng them for lunch

and, thanks to ..... someone mentioing it in a journal entry, today we bought a tub of plain houmus from the Turkish supermarket its gorgeous! - how did I manage to not discover these foods before? and.... so.... what else havne't I yet discovered? <

I managed to find the lemon flavoured hummus I talked about earlier

And then my sister sent me a recipe for making the world's best hummus. Her words - I've yet to try it

The Turkish shop we use, had two types of houmus, plain and olive; we got the plain, so I guess this is unflavoured; probably so you could flavour it yourself; pretty cheap too, and this was for a 454 G (1 Lb) tub of it - which we've got to eat in three days, from opening.... which actually I don't think will be a problem - Actually I think it'll be rather nice with it spread onto toast, or bread, just with som pickled chilies put on top hmm.... no I best not try the chillies now, just before bed but I'll probably have some just on bread, or crackers I think, tonight for supper good recomendation BTW! - I'm sure I had it years ago... but just didn't think much of it... so either that was a rubbish 'version', or just my tastes have changed - oughta certainly help reduce my cheese obsession or addiction somewhat
