which is also lunch, natch
2 rashes bacon.
one egg.
about 100 - 150 Grams button mushrooms.
two pieces small bread, toasted, and with a little marge.
Olive oil for frying
under 500 Callories
dinner tonight is smoked haddock, with fine long whole green beans, potatos, and green salad with a little dressing
which takes me in under 1000 calories for the day... - oh, and potatos boiled new, to go with the evening meal forgot that
no doubt maybe 400 calories supper time, probably some crackers and cheese, or toast and cooked meat.
off to the gym soon, for the initital visit, etc, to see if I'll sign up, and check out what its lke etc
came in well under calories yesterday.... so got to have thre pints in the pub and still under calories, after that and th e little supper when I got home about 40 minutes walking yesterday which helps, of course
if I can lose another 5 LB this week - true not just the diet, no doubt the diuretics have an effect too, think I'm losing the oedema, a little bit, in places, but very slowely.......
off to the supermarket later, to give blood, for testing sodium and potassium, to ensure the diuretics arn't heading me to becoming really ill (yes, the GP surgery here now using a phlabotomy service, at a local supermarket) whilst ther ewe can get the potatos for dinner tonight, and see what meats and some other bits we need, they have in, maybe get more avocados for an evening meal tomorrow, that salad we did with it a couple nights back was gorgeous, and about 350 calories need to pop into town soon, get a new set of scales, my talking ones are too inaccurate and not consistant so a regular pair is probably a better idea, and W can read the display
I had new socks arrive in hte post! but they don't fit "one size fits most" hmm.... W thinks they're aimed less at adult men, than they are at females, and possibley child females at that .... damnit, but I want socks with individual toes, and a smiley face on the toes, and 'happy' written on them oh well, I've got a present to give to our granddaughter err, that's W's daughter's daughter.... step granddaughter I assume ready-made inherited family

just went to mee t my personal trainer at the gym gosh... its subsidised membership, and so cheap really nice new equipment, as it was just refitted last year I think just gotta get a form filled in by GP to say I won't drop dead if I do any exercise and then I can start back hom enow, a quick lunch, bannnana and yogart and off out again in a moment to go have my arm mutilated by a phlebotamist ... well, having just eaten a banannannannanna oughta skew the potassium results suitably
still way down on protein goal fo the day, even having already added in dinner later... I might have to go quickly find some meat to grill or I'll be about a thousand calories under again by the end of the day

went to sainsburys, for bloods.... looks like the arms bruised up quite badly again, this time,k even though I got the nurse to use the vein on my bicept, on my right arm, which is about the biggest thing I've got, vein wise, left on my arms ATM did some shopping whilst there, got some tiny potatos, which will do tonight and tomorrow, a pack of pork steaks/chops, which we'll have two of tomorrow night, and probably freeze the others, to have some other time, and a pack of chicken thighs, which Ill cook up the evening after tomorrow, and have a couple that night, with salad and avocado for dinner, and keep the rest of th the thighs, cooked, after that in the fridge for using the next couple days... also got a pack of ham whilst there
tired by the time we got back, as it was a 70 minute round trip, walking there and back, so went for a 'short nap'... didn't wake up until a bit ago, so now finally cooking a very late dinner half the potatos on to boil, and the smoked haddock under the grill with some rosemary and black pepper and a litlte olive oil, whole green beans to boil soon, to go with that, plus a big bowl of salad to go with it, I think should all be cooked in about twenty minutes

My dinner today was "Raid The Fridge - And Take No Prisoners ": One large chopped onion, four chopped cloves of garlic and a handful of edamame beans fried in butter and truffle oil and seasoned with chili and salt. A short while later doused with a mixture of three eggs, four thick slices of cut into cubes and 2.5 deciliter cream. This was served on two pieces of toasted sandwich. It was mighty good with ketchup

sounds good... eggs and cheese are our friends
I've saved up enough caloires from today, and hopefully the same tomorrow, so I can have more tomorrow night - I think in future I'll pre-program my calories for the week, by putting all the beer in first, then just eating whatever I'm allowed with the calories left over - yeh, I gets the healthy eating man

salad for lunch.... tuna, dill gerkins, cucumber, lettuce, a tiny bit of cheddar, and some dressing.... 234 calories pork steaks for dinner tonight, with more of the little potatos we got yesterday, green beans and salad and oughta then only still be about 1200 calories for the day so a pub trip tonight may be called for assuming the weather isn't too wet as it is now but now its nap time

Come to think of it, slept in and even skipped coffee this morning, late as this (9:20pm PDT), as soon as I finish a load of laundry I'm working on, supper, a sliced and buttered small baked potato topped with mushroom soup and a minced ripe avocado, club crackers on the side and a cup of cocoa, then bed.

40 minutes out walking earlier... in the freezing cold - seems I've still got some nerve dammage in my fingers, as they go loverly pure white when very cold, especially on my right hand, from the neuropathy, still, although they're a lot better when I virtually coudln't use them at all or feel anything, a couple years back immediately after the chemo and only consumed 850 calories today despite bacon for breakfast had a gorgeous salad tonight, avocardo again, with tomato, cucumber, lettuce, some ceaser dressing, and a grilled chicken thigh, dowsed all over with paprika and black pepper so many calories not consumed today, it'd seem a shame not to go out for a couple of pints and still end up about 300 or 400 calories under my daily goal now lost about 8 Lb in the past err.... fifteen days or so and not even started adding in the gym yet and seemingly managing to lose weight whilst not taking any replacement thyroid meds, which, is, from waht I've read, ment to be impossible.... - I really don't trust some of the hospitals lab results on my bloods, they just don't add up with how I feel etc

Easy day today, very light continuous sprinkle all day, not enough to preclude working out of doors, about a month to get the house and yards in shape before surgery rescheduled for April.
Coffee and cookies for breakfast, for supper, a pint of soup made with a can of Progresso lentil soup with a medium sized potato & 1 1/2 zucchini spears cut into bite sized bits, a cup of desert petite primrose* florets added, seasoned with a heaping tbspn of cream cheese, a liberal dash of powdered kelp seasoning, 3 tsp of hot sauce and a bowl of plain yellow corn tortilla chips and cocoa on the side.

Camissonia boothii, the desert petite primrose, or brown-eyed primrose, a common desert winter and spring herb throughout the American south west.
The bunches of florets are similar to broccoli in texture, but more tender and slightly more bitter, more like basil than broccoli in flavor.
Rich in gamma-lineoleic acid.
One of the locally native herbs and spices I cultivate in my garden, a good soup and salad class herb.

oo... sounds an interesting herb/veg
two hardboiled eggs for breakfast, on small slices of wholemeal bread, 308 calories.
salad for lunch, tuna, lettuce, cucumber, gherkins, and some dressing, and a tiny, 20 gram lump of mature cheese, crumbled and about 1000 calories left for tonight, which is a risotto I think, so should not reach even 1500 calories for the day, again I think
the three pints last night may have slightly taken me over for the day yesterday though - the only beer they had on I really like was 6% so that had a fair few calories in three pints but it was 30 minutes walking to and fro the pub, which helps
today just half an hour walking thus far, to and fro the Drs surgery to try get some sense out of the girl on reception (failed attempt), visa my last blood tests and what the Drs want to do next and then to the pharmacy to pick up 'some drugs'.... some drugs ended up being an entire shopping bag full for me - but on getting home, I combined the 6 packets of steroids into four packs, so at least I could fit them in the ever-increasingly bulging main drug store in the fridge two big boxes of eyedrops, plus melatonin and lansoprazole (the proton pump inhibitor thing) and, err, think that was about it, as I've given up taking the thyorid meds as they make me so ill ... Still waiting for Dr to write letter to gym, to say I'm fit enough to go to the gym... assuming the Dr (who has never seen me) thinks this is the case
house been shaking and vibrating all day - work to demolish the double story garages behind these flats, is now in full swing..... and there are some large bits of reinforced concrete causing them considerable problem bang! rumble! hope the vibrations and movements of the hosue don't dammage teh house
