2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Started conversation Jan 13, 2017
Been eating a fabulus stew the last few days, got six portions, so three nights for W and me, i made it with the shin again, that just works the best tons and tons of mushrooms (two types), lots of onion, a tiny bit of garlic, mustard seeds, cumin and fennel, plus rosemary and black pepper and beef stock, slow cooker....
Tonight wa sthe last night of it, all that was left went into a saucepan and I threw in bulghur and it was
not been online in days, not turned the computer on in days, just wasn't... well enough, basically, and, oddly, not entirely sure if it was physically or mentally not well enough... probably both TBH just bleh all day everyday from when I take my first med, and useually waking up a bit by evening time, so unable to do anything much useful during the day, like actually hunting down people to repair bits of the house that are broken
went wten pin bowling Thuesday night, which was OK, went out with a friend Wednesday night, and so had to inject the GH early that night (9 PM as opposed to midnight), as I knew I'd be home late.... got home about 5 AM, - slept most of yesterday after that laste night - as obviously had to get up early, yesterday to take meds, so just went back to bed after that
Did bedding laundry today, and briefly popped out with William to buy coat hangers, and go to the shop for a few grocerys, so at least I've been out of the house today
Still updosing steroids at the moment (5 MG in morning, rather than 3 MG), as I've had a small skin infection, but as its concluded itself, more or less, I didn't bother going to the GP, but updosed the steroid just to make sure to avoid crisis
The hospital appointment Wednesday for oncology was canceled, that is now at the start of Febuary.
Monday is the long day; 9 AM, for cardiology, 10.430 for endocrineology to take bloods for checking on teh GH trial, and then rush back home, to meet the growth hormone nurse in the afternoon.... (starting the next pen as they only last a month )
Then, firday is the app with the endocrine consultant, which has to hopefully produce results this time, like doing something about my meds, or the oedema.
Bathed last night, and fel over when getting out, but as I wans't fully standing at the time, didn't fall far, muscles just went in leg.
Need to get of of the thyroid med, its only making me iller, and giving me more hypo thyroid symptoms than hyper symptoms, which is the exact opposite of the drugs ment to do doesn't seem to the be the alternatives to it availible in the UK like there are elsewhere in the world, so may have to just quit taking it, and accept the consequences of that unless the consultant can suggest something useful for once...
Most exciting thing this week was half a kilogram of pepper corns arriving oh, no it wasn't!; I forgot, my new dress arrived chocolate brown, velvet, and some designer make I think, - looking online its about £80 or more new, i got it off EBay (still has the origional as new tags on it), for... £5, plus £3 delivery its gorgeous matterial, as the feel of it is so nice Just too tired most days to do anything, an useuallly unable to sleep due to being so overheating all the time (not sure what this weird temp disregulation thing is about... could be high or low thyroid, or low cortisol I think, or something else of course... hate being sweaty esp as it normally happens when I'm out; say like going into the cold, so wearing a coat, then get to a shop... bang I'm just drenched )
Right, must be shower time, depending on what the weather is like out, may brave the outside to find a pub, as its evenign now the drugs are wearing off, so I'm feeling a lot better than I have most of the day so far

I'm beginning to think that you need to be an inpatient at some endocrine clinic or something, for observation.
Let staff monitor you, and log your symptoms for a couple of days, take blood samples with quite short intervals to see if any levels change rapidly, and really see with their own eyes how you are doing.
No fun at all, but they really don't seem to believe your words.
I still wish you all the health.

Good to see you back, , SparticusLegs.
I was begining to worry.
Of course, I occasionally disappear myself on account of simple exhaustion.

haa... I don't think the hospital is interested in the slightest in doing any study or examination on me, they've made their descision, labelled what I've got, so I get the drugs for that that everyone gets, and they then ignore all the side effects, and especially those meds which then do the opposite of what they're ment too...
so tired today.
went into town to a cafe to meet up with some people, william and me, and I think maybe nearly went into adrenal crisis whilst there, but got home OK, and took some steroids, and jusst so so tired and painful ATM gotta be into bed early though that useually means I won't sleep at all, as have to be up early to take meds and get to bus to get to hospital for the endocrine bloods first thing (just for the GH stuff, so I guess measuring thyroid and Insulin like growth factor one levels plus basics like sodium and potassim etc, mind, as I don't get copies of my results I'm never entirely sure what they do measure)...
just so tired though must go back soon err, bath soon, as after the bloods in hospial I've got the electrocardiogram and then rush home to meet the GH nurse (the one from the GH company, not th eGH nurse from the hospital )
Key: Complain about this post
