2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Started conversation Nov 9, 2016
I appear to have missed one for yesterday
But, today being the 9th, is m birthday
randomly went to pub nextdoor last night, and bumped into a whole variety of people not seen in ages, exchanged nail advice and clothing advice, and nail polish advice with the barmaid, who stroked my leg. no. really she did. - OK so in reality she just liked the purple trousers I have on, and wanted to feel the matterial
Then two of the guys who work behind the bar in the normal pub we go in, came in (as nextdoor opens later), and they are odd...
one is 'straight' as he claims,- has a GF or rather did; she is now apparently lesbien and so not with him.
The other guy, he's defiantely not straight, assides anything he was throwing himself all over the other bloke.... yes, the 'straight' one.... who didn't seem to be objecting too much to the attention I think really, even if they don't quite let themsevels know it, everyone who works at that pub is bi... they ceratinly seem to be.... Got a random and very out of tune 'happy Birthday' sung to me, just after middnight, in the pub, and the two barmen said I've free pints in their pub, tonight
Went to bed a bit before 2 AM, but coudln't sleep.... was raining hard outside at 4.30 #aM.... got some acid reflux again and felt sick, so just sat up for a while, then went back into bed about 5, adn woke up at 7.30, and just laid in bed, awake, dozing a bit, until 9...
Got up took levothyroxin, and drank
cooked up a massive birthday breakfast, of bacon, blackpudding fried eggs, toast etc, (photographic evidence on FB and twitter I think)
Then got my cards and gifts!
I don't think I've had this many cards since I was like a kid
one from William
A Cliff Richard musical bithday card from my Dad (having just phoned him, it is the identicle same card he sends me each year; waste not want not eh?).
A christmas card, with crossed out 'christmas wishes' replaced with 'birthday' ones, from my Teddy bears (they're so clever to have done that all by themselves).
One from my Brother.
One from W's daughter and husband,
one from W's ex-whife and new husband.
and, I think that was all
then my presents
a set ov Victorian Pearls from W which are just gorgeous
and a set of two, silver plate, victorian/edwardian, Italian, Grindle spoons! - now I need a grindle spoon display case
I've also got a gift card for Amazon I got by Email, from the icier recessess of Europe <dragon
Oh, and my Dad said he'll get W and I a meal out, when we visit (which we've been planning on doing for ages, but, yaknow, I've been ill and stuff)
and, tonight W and I are out for a meal and probably the pub after (free beer afterall.... )
oh, and W said he'll pay for my order of goodies from Body shop I'm trying to do, ATM, to use the voucher from them I alwready have
not much else I think planned for the rest of the day today, cept I'm having the most epic bath ever, probably later this afternoon - I've got all the bath bombs, bath melts, rose bath oil, and honey bath stuff, ready for it
now...
What shall I wear tonight?;
Leopard print leggings, and the leopard print dress?
The smart red maxi dress (black leggings or stockings, or leopard print leggings, or the unicorn rainbow leggings)?
knee length riding boots?
I'm thinking either white smokey musck perfumme, or the red musck tonight

and, earlier, as I was using my two £5 vouchers at Bodyshop that I've built up from their points thing, plus their 'spend £50 get £25 off' offer, W insisted on paying for it so about £70 worth of stuff, minus the £10 voucherss off, then the £25 off for the offer, and W paid for the lot - I use way too much 'product' perfume, shower gel/body wash, body butters, moisturiser, and two differnt bath things in the order
just about to have a cup of tea, then I'm having the most epic birthday bath ever - a Lush bath melt and a Lush bath bomb, plus the rose oil butbble bath stuff, and the honey bath gel stuff, from Bodyshop to go into it... then fi can decide what to wear, we're probably out for an Indian to the Posh Indian up the road that just won some prize in the UK curry awards (think it was voted best Indian resturant in the south of the UK or something) I've recovered enough from the massive breakfast now, to do it justice I think; the one good thing with steroids boy can I eat!

thanks!
well I had my most epic of baths, with all the Lush and body shop products imaginabile then went out with W for an Indian which was and then made it to the pub, for an hour... - so full of curry that I could onl find t room for two pints, one of which the landlord got me and... I must be old; I think I need an early night! was a busy day and I managed to hold energy levels up all day, and at least my muscles idn't play up too much
And I've still got all the goodies I ordered online today from bodyshop to look forward too, plus still the money to spend on Amazon (may put it towards a new laptop, as I could do with an more ptodate PC really ) ,zen>

'English' 'curry' is a very English thing or maybe I mean 'British' 'curry' not quite sure.... I doubt most of the dishes bare much resembelence to actual Indian cusine tasty though very much so.... - think I ate way too much last nigh though.... woke up in middle of the night, well, 4 AM, feeling nausious - acid reflux I think, yet again luckily wasn't sick though

"The most often quoted story about the invention of the Tikka Masala sauce is an odd one. The tale goes that in the 60s a British man ordered Chicken Tikka in an Indian restaurant owned by Bangladeshi chefs and complained when it arrived that it was too dry. The chef tossed a tin of Campbell’s tomato soup onto the Tikka and sprinkled in some spices and a spoonful of yoghurt to appease the gentleman – and thus Chicken Tikka Masala was born.
Of course there are many other Indian restaurants that lay claim to the popular dish so it’s hard to say whom we truly have to thank for it."
Over here on the continent (and I believe the rest of both pre- and post-Brexit Europe) the word "curry" only covers the dry mix of spices, not the ready made meals. You can of course also buy "curry paste" and "curry sauce" etc. but please note that it is specified that those are not dry powders
