is, me, weraing my hair, as it is now... so much lighter... bouncier... and... not having it tied back... or, not weraing a hat... it feels... so odd. I ... I ... think I kinda like it

so. no ribbons. no hat. no pony tail tonight..... off to the pub now

I'm glad the chemo and radiation is over, now I hope you recover your strength fast. And enjoy the pub.

WEll; the ribbons weren't like actually platted into my hair; I've not enough hair after the chemo for that anyhow!; they've all been attached to my hair band! - all 69 foot... most 1/2 inch wide, some ribbons 1 inch wide... so ... an aweful lot! - at least I can have them in or out as required!; anyhow; I'd not have fit in the radiation mask with the ribbons in, so I'd have to have rmeoved them each day for the three weeks of radiation! I'm not sure my hair will ever be long enough now, to have proper ribbons/platting type thing done, that would be so* cool... just like the girl at Lush has with her hair

Mind, for now... my hairs gone so weird... its all... sort of ... lighty and bouchy err, light and bouncy I think I mean

so much recovery to do. - now the cancer is hopefully done with. its the new logner adventure that will be endocrinoogy to come. i've a feeling the cancer was teh quick easy bit. the endocrinology and neurology could take a lot longer - there. may.... be more weird yet to uncover and release

I 'played' with my friends hair tonight. M hair used to be thicker than his. and longer. and ... less... oh. gosh. m hair is an aweful lot differnt. no wonder it feels odd. just back home. washed up lodgers dinner things. cleaned cooker. cleaned worktops etc. might find myself some supper. throat hurts, took some disolvable paracetamol, which is ment to help the radiation dammage. I think. gosh. my hair is thin. not sure I mgiht actually prefer it like this.... but... still so strange...

I'm sure it will grow back. Sometimes it comes back curlier than before, and in a different colour, so you may be in for a surprise there too!

I think this is it sort of growing back; its odd though; as I never actually entirely lost it - and yeh, its sort of wavier, and, if anyting darker (less grey than I had before, apparently!) - I kinda like the new hair in some ways... - afterall this is a new version of me... - a newer... weirder me... - I'm a bit like madonna in that respect... kinda reinvented every decade or so
