European Institute for Media (EIM) asked 30,000 Europeans about internetbehavior. a conclusion was that internetters were not in a social isolement, but they are realy socially and more active, than tv watchers. also internetter do more fitness and read more books.

another myth that can in go in bustbin according to EIM is that internet makes world smaller and social differences bigger are not true!

I think that internetters are social and communicate more with other parts of so I think it makes world smaller.

Lots of people in developing countries dont use internet at all and many in developed nations dont either.

We are a lucky bunch who can converse and share ideas across continents and still see our immediate neighbours aswell.

There's certainly diversity at hootoo, but the first person I made friends with only lives 4 miles away! (Hiya VV).

India has got an active internet community, that's part of the reason big multinational companies are moving work from the UK to india. The other being exploitation of course (check out their pay scales.....High locally, but hardly the international rate for the job).

My Company deals with Malaysia for the same reasons.

good software programmer is India too!

Many programmers here are still out of work from when the white collars jobs started leaving in the 90's. People said it would not happen to the white collars.
