You live in Brighton? I love Brighton.

I used to live in Bristol and I remember a couple of times when it snowed there for about fifteen minutes - the whole city shut down!

Amazing concept for a Canadian . . .

It has snowed and stuck just once in the 7 years that I've lived here. That morning's traffic was absolute chaos. My strongest memory was following behind someone in a Volvo as they repeatedly skidded and skated at about 2mph until they finally lost it completely and hit some railings smiley - laugh

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho

I think I'd rather not smiley - yikes

You want real excitement, just try driving on I-35 from Austin to San Antonio in broad daylight on dry roads with clear conditions.

Nightmare smiley - headhurts

Good Doctor Zomnker (This must be Tuesday," said GDZ to himself, sinking low over his Dr. Pepper, "I never could get the hang of Tuesdays.")

We just picked up another 4-6 inches last night. We just got rid off all we got at Christmas early last week. Go figure.

That's something I've yet to experience broe, but I've heard stories smiley - yikes However, I've also heard statistics that the stretch between Austin and SA is the most dangerous in terms of deaths per mile.

It surprises me not.

I-25 is often pretty good. That takes me from here to my beloved Denver.... but it has also taken me to Santa Fe, NM... and I know it gets into Cheyenne, Wyoming.

OH GOODNESS!!! I am going to go on a roadtrip with my brother up to South Dakota to visit one of my bestest friends!!! And to see Mount Rushmore and Devil's Tower (as seen in that movie... ummm... Close Encounters of the Third Kind...).... YEEEHAH!!!

I've never been on a roadtrip... smiley - winkeye

Never been to Brighton, either.

But I've seen a LOT of snow...

::looked:: Ahhh... lovely England... you're quite lucky!!! smiley - laugh Green leaves in Feb... smiley - tongueout

Pictures like that make me feel like traveling that way again... not gonna happen soon, though. I miss the Tube.

I'm rambling. Ummm... not good.

Last March we had the biggest snowstorm in recorded Colorado history (which doesn't mean a whole lot, as that history probably started being recorded in 1848 with the Treaty of Guadelupe Hildalgo and the U.S.'s acquisition of... well, never mind... smiley - tongueout boring....!!!), and the main roads were closed. Something like six feet of snow in three days!??

Not too major, but pretty major for us. smiley - winkeye I do have pictures, but I'm technologically retarded and they were taken on those cameras that need film... smiley - tongueout

What's this about maltloaf '98!?? I LOVE MALTLOAF!!! And I graduated high school in 1998... smiley - winkeye

It's a reference to an old art teacher, who looked like meat loaf but was Wlesh, if that makes sense...

Makes perfect sense.

smiley - laugh I thought this colleague of mine, a graphic designer, would make a worthy object of affection for awhile, and he claims to be Welsh... so my point is, I like Malt Loaf, it to me, is sweet and yummy... so I guess in some weird way he was my Welsh malt loaf.

Ok... I've only been taking cold medication, I promise!!! smiley - tongueout
