Advice for movie characters

when escaping from the bad guys on foot, if they climb into a car to chase after you, then running down the middle of a two lane highway is probably not the best way to escape them. Especially if there is no other traffic.
One for the Script Writers / Directors,
Women. they are allowed to have normal personalities and cope with day to day life without a bloke to help them out.
Men. They are allowed to have personalities and a reason to exist other than shoving their noses into the affairs of single mothers.
Damn, thats just ruined the action movie scene.

Car chases can actually be boring in the long run. You don't always need a car chase.

Another one for the directors that annoys me:-
Try and match the engine noise of the vehicle to what it is actually doing.
Too many times you here the engine revving up as iff accellerating only to see the brake lights are on on the car (or bike, Police Story (I think) does this!)

The main character never dies half way through the film. If s/he did, what would be the point in doing an extra hour of the film<?> Why bother putting it in the script<?>

Although, they have been known to die right at the start, and the whole film becomes a flashback to show what killed them...

I mean, like, in an action movie......they look like they're going to get killed but don't. We know they won't. They never *do*....

You can't revive Friday the 13th, and get a decent movie out of it...

When there are five of you available to look for the monster, don't split up! Yes the hunt will go quicker if you do, but it makes it easier to pick you off one at a time.
