We seem to have a clear sky today - and maybe also tonight. Thank you, Matt.

I'm holding out hope for Cambridge. Been 'close' all day with the sun in and out behind but may stay relatively clear for tonight...

No telling what it'll be like here tonight. It's clouded up the last several evenings. It's blue now though.

GRRR most annoyed by these I'd been planning to watch it all day, then managed to fall asleep on the sofa at 11pm and didn't wake up till 2ish...then trooped immediately to bed and didn't think about the meteors again until I woke up and realised I'd missed them!
Really annoying as my colleagues at work all say it was really good viewing around this area and I'd identified a good flat topped hill with no light pollution nearby to watch them from as well!

I saw one good one and two 'phuts' (like those fireworks which go up then just go 'phut').
For this I got very cold and a stiff neck (but my own fault for going outside in nightwear and standing up rather than lying on the ground)

I'm up in the Canadian Rockies. It's very clear. Checked at 2,3, and 4AM. Only saw one near the Chair of Casseopia.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
