Hooray for the new buttons!

I do find the side Goo a bit busy now, and would have liked to keep Don't Panic! but at least it does not burn my eye balls out like alabaster, which is nice. I suppose Read, Talk, and Contribute are good for newbies and having Edit Page in the page, rather than Goo, is nice. All in all, I'm a bit neither one nor other rightly. What a handy piece of feedback

It's perfect. Don't ever change it again. Best of both worlds. We can have our alabaster cake and eat it in the comfort of goo.
And I appreciate the name change from "Support Group" or whatever you called yourselves to "H2G2 Editors" - somehow it makes it more personal. Please carry on signing postings under this ID with your own names though.

I do like the new "Edit Page" and "Discuss" Buttons being on the page, rather than hiding in the Goo....
BUT, what was wrong with Don't Panic! ???? It just seems petty to change it!
And all of the new side bar Goo buttons really DON'T fit into the Goo at all aesthetically! They just seem too cluttered and shoved into a tight space....
Other than that, it's nice to see Who's online included

What do you mean "Don't Panic!" isn't there. On mouse over help just look at the bottom of your screen on the thingy bar ( I can never remember the proper names for these things)
John &
BTW I'm getting used to this functionality lark. At least we've still got the most important part of Goo - the background.

Yeah, ok. The Help!-thing should prolly still be called "Don't Panic". For the sake of continuity. For the sake of style. But I won't gripe about that now... This Friday is too good for gripes.

It's to do with strags who come to the site and can't find their way around because they don't know what the Don't Panic button does (do they try pressing it? Oh no...)
Oh, Fish, I wouldn't say that to Mark if I were you. I tried that... just sit and look at it for a while. It'll grow on you. Although I have to admit I was doing very well without most of the buttons. Still, skin consistency is good.
Now we await with great anticipation the Towers deciding to do a third skin...
