Bugged Entry?!?!
FordsTowel Started conversation Dec 26, 2008
I wouldn't suggest anybody just idly go to this entry; but, having run across it, I have to ask the Editors to check into it. It's one of very few entries that run off the right hand side of my screen, rather then wrap.
It is also the most strangely long, and weirdly parsed entry I've ever seen. I actually copied it and tried pasting it into MS Word. The result was over 600 pages.
Not sure why this should be, but I'd sure like to get your feedback, editors!

They look like they might be emails which have been copy & pasted to an A page.
I think the first one in the posting is supposed to be the last one, with the others being in reversed order:
ie read from bottom to the top
This will make the spacings more irregular on those further down the page.
I haven't read them in any detail, so unless there is too much personal information among the messages, I don't think there is much to be done.

First of all, Thanks for Responding!
I certainly don't want to be a content gestapo. I wouldn't dream of suggesting that the entry be removed or blocked.
I was curious, however, why the text doesn't seem to wrap?!
Not that it should have to be, but could it be reformatted?
I had been searching the guide for some specific information on a subject that seems to have escaped notice, and that entry was one of the few that had any relevant text. It would be nice, for me, if it were more user friendly.
Just asking.

The text doesn't wrap because of a very long line near the bottom, just above:
'MOST CURRENT ONGOING CONTRIBUTION FROM THE EU KM BOARD'
On the line above it, a number of h2g2 links run together, and because there are no spaces it doesn't wrap. the 'Referenced Sites' section is similarly warped because of a particularly long URL, a link to a knowledgeboard posting.
Hope this explains

Okay, I know it is childish, I admit it, I read this thread thinking the title was a slight mis-spelling!

Skankyrich:
Thanks! that is the specific I was looking for; and, having read a bit more of it, I can see that it doesn't really pertain to the subject I was researching.
Problem solved, for me!!
I am a bit surprised that entries can be made that long. And, the researcher seems to have elvised.
STRANGELY STRANGE:
Time to live up to your name, eh?? That's a very naughty boy, you are.
lil ... ACE/Scout:
Thanks again, and no worries!
