Sorry for the harsh tone of my last post. I thought someone was collecting 'incriminating' material agains Mark.
You are all right, he is one of the hardest working people at h2g2. Without him the site wouldn't exist, and we all owe him our deepest respect.
Hands down to Mark Moxon aka 'Dictator Markus Moxonius' aka 'Sheriff Mark'! You had to sail heavy seas during the BBCing of h2g2, but now the sea seems to be smooth, easy winds, your passengers no longer seem to be seasick
(I think I have to stop praising now, a very esteemed person who is at the helm of the h2g2 ship and does not want his name to be mentioned might become megalomaniac )
Mark, if you think you did a great job so far, you're RIGHT!

During the war Mark threw himself upon a grenade saving our entire squad.
The man's a hero.
If he'd survived the blast, I'd buy him a today.

When Mark went to school (and we all know that he did), he had to get up at 4 AM to clear the pavements in front of all the houses of the neighbourhood, then he made breakfast for all those elderly ladies who could no longer do that themselves, then he had to walk to school: 5 miles to and 5 miles fro, summer and winter, barefoot with no shoes or socks ...
He had that little chalkboard that he used as a pad to do his homework on while still walking home (He didn't want to waste any time, because during the day some 2 yards of snow had fallen on the pavements again, and he had to clean them, even in summer!!)
What a man!

I've been asking people to sign a Petition for Greater Freedom on h2g2, and Mark was nice enough to correct the address on our online petition, so that copies sent by traditional mail will be more likely to get into the proper hands. That was pretty helpful!

You may, of course, use any quotes you want from my article.
I would be patient and wait until after the English Meet on 7th July... you are sure to get far more feedback after THAT little debacle! LOL
