Not only is this the first piece that I have put up for review, but I also think that my thorough research needs rewarding.
Possibly a little short (I prefer succinct) but worth a read.

I'm afraid you hit a doublet here. There already is an entry in the Edited guide: 'Kettle' at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A151499.
But your research isn't for nothing: The story about the Queen would warrant that an update to the existing entry be made, and this is where the h2g2 Update HQ comes into play. It's at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A496451, and you should just create a posting there in like fashion to the announcement here.
Before doing so, I would like you to expand the story - as it is now, it's a bit cryptic, at least for me who doesn't know what the allusion is pointing at.
