Speaking as someone who is a great fan of regional accents (Manchester and Newcastle are about the only two I can't cope with: bad childhood memories) I have to say that I quite like the Brummie accent, and that all the bad press it gets is unfair; and coming from Glasgow masell, even I find it a wee bit on the hard side to figure out whit the wee neds in the street are bangin on about. And 'It's Christmas!!!!' really wouldn't be the same. And King Adora, my little idols, come from the fair twirly city of Birmingham.
(I had great fun learning how to speak Brummie though, now I just need someone to practise on).

Having spent my formative years on the borders of the fair city of Birmingham and the Black Country and now having resettled their after a brief fling in Manchester (terrible, terrible memories!) and a longer lasting relationship with Stoke-on-Trent, I am once more 'appy to be wiv peepul oo can tork proppa loik wot oi doo
