Thank heavens! They've put air conditioning in our office - the "men" just left, and we now enjoy a constant 18°. Knocks you for six when you go out - even just out of the room.
I wonder how many people will start getting colds now?

... I reckon it's around 30° outside at the moment.

Here people are talking about something worse than just bad weather And all they mean is that for 2 weeks it has been up to +30 and no rain whatsoever.

Sorry, Hati. But I am just not happy in hot weather, (like over 20°) and, now I'm in the menopause, it is even more unbearable. Can I come and visit you? You can come here and we could swap houses.
The aircon doesn't even cope with my hot flushes. Yesterday, the first day with it fully working, I had to keep readjusting it as I went hot and cold.

Erm. Then changing the houses wouldn't help. Exept that I have a relatively cool cellar and I was considering organizing the stuff down there today to escape from the heat. It's +27C here already. I was not joking when I said we call it worse than a bad bad weather. It's usually called drought. I retuned from Holland yesterday and during one week all Estonia had turned yellow. Grass is dead and trees are dropping leaves. The good news is that some rain is expected for tomorrow or Monday.
Weather is my passion. I can rant about it with no end.

It's not raining yet but a fellow h2g2er from Sweden said that there has been some cloud-activity in some parts of the country and there are rumours about rain, too.
