Well we thought it would be good to have a combined space where we can both contribute and for those occasions when we are huddled around the one puter we can post as one or the other of us without having to log out as one and in again as the other.

Well hello Lady and Gentleman.
Hi, I am Bassman and am one of the team of A.C.E.s who's job it is to roll out the welcome mat for newcomers to H2G2. Due to an administrative error - I'm not on my usual machine, I don't have the impressive list of good places to go and great people to ask for help if you need it. I will rectify this and get back to you. Anyhow, congratulations on your recent good news, I hope the party was a great one.
