How about some way to retrieve a random guide entry? This would be a great way to waste some more time here ...

Because Guide Entry pages aren't contiguously number & have a check digit there isn't a way to randomly generate valid page numbers (unless someone at h2g2 wants to tell me the check digit algorithm )
But there is a way to get a Random Online User - you can find the code here http://www.h2g2.com/A178472 - or you can try it out on my home page - there's a button near the top of my page.
hope it helps

Mind bogglingly simple, and doomed to vicious bloodthirsty failure, as all po.litical solutions are...
Here it is- demand an agenda from your government that actively applies Asimovs Three Laws of Robotics to foreign policy.
RANSOM YOUR VOTE IN THE RELENTLESS PURSUIT OF THIS IDEAL, AND WE WILL USHER IN THE NEW AGE.
The principle is peace, enforced by the will of the people.

Well when you search the guide and there's nothing matching your search it shows a list of some other entries you could try. I haven't really looked at them so I don't know whether those are random or perhaps the most neglected entries or something.

Hi. New Guy here...Yes! Ransom my vote, I will! Usher in peace as well!
I'm sleepy. Remind me what Asimov's 3 laws of robotics are again...just to refresh my flacid cerebellum. (Thanks.)
