No, no such fun for me. Although a sledge might make it easier to get around. Mr B and broe jr enjoyed pelting each other with snowballs under the guise of shovelling the walk. And baby broe fussed that he couldn't go out and play with his big brother, but he wouldn't keep his hat and gloves on.

Heard from our friends in Glendale. They still had no power last night, but had gotten a generator from someplace so they had heat, the fridges and the internet. The most important things, don't you know?

Ameren says they expect to have most of the remaining outages resolved by tonight, but it may still be Friday for some.

I think between the storms in July and this first storm of the winter, generator sales in the St Louis area will skyrocket this year.
