So what if it is? You're more than the sum of your parts, Pierce. You can discover new uses for yourself until your last breath. That's what makes being alive so interesting.

That is very true
I discussed this with other friends in another place (they are not hootooers)
The basic conclusions so far are:
1. If my provision is a derogating one I am free to do whatever I want to do *and* free not to do whatever I do not want to do.
2. It is hard to avoid doing things on the days you have dedicated to not doing anything.
3. Which proves what I thought already many years ago: Eating, sleeping, loving and creating (not necessarily in that order) are natural urges you just cannot withstand if you are completely free from all obligations.
4. This in turn proves that even pocket philosophy has its place. I think

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Posted Mar 8, 2014
so.... basically... what your saying.... to paraphrase... very slightly.... Is, basically, that, ultimately, it all comes down to bacon, butter, cheese and sex... I've been investigating this very plausible possibility myself... Almost concluded the same, but the results still need some repeat validation just to ensure its correct

"I have decided to dedicate this day to procrastination" [Pierce]
I'd like to join you, but not right now. Is tomorrow good?

Stands to reason, 2legs, but needs further investigations none the less - thank Bob!
Well, paulh, as you can see I failed miserably, because I couldn't wait to post my provisional findings - but I will give it another go tomorrow and maybe then we will see sometimes later

What's the opposite of procrastination? Concrastination? Anticrastination?

Here's a good answer: "I thought of precrastination at first but that appears to be the act of planning to procrastinate."
Which I found here:

I think 'being proactive' covers best

Somehow this reminds me of the ancient question: "If you try to fail and you succeed, what have you accomplished?"

Follow the money, Pierce. If someone pays you to lose a race or title bout, you end up with some money you might not otherwise have had. Far more people fail to try, so they lose out on discovering what talents they might have.
Failing to plan is said to be like planning to fail, but the two are really quite different. One is passive, the other active.

Very true my friend
But here's another question to ponder on: What if I procastrinate to precastrinate - and fail

And here's another good one from the net:
"I'm a perfectionist with a procrastinator complex. Someday I'm going to be awesome "

I suggest that you experiment to see which approach works best for you. You're the one who will have to live with the consequences.
