and if possible lend a hand or two smiley - applause

For several reasons I have not been able to be an active part in this smiley - blush but I admire the people who have and still are. I think they have done a fantastic job and I sure hope nothing of it will have been in vain smiley - smiley

I agree.
I can't help but feeling they are overshooting the mark somewhat, though. smiley - smiley

This could be true - as noted elsewhere - but I have too little insight to comment on this, so I will just stick to encourage them as I believe the need for this can not be overrated smiley - smiley

I've tried to keep up with all the threads that are going on -- both here and in the Google email site -- and have seen some very exciting documents and discussions. It seems to be going very well. We would be fortunate to enjoy the improvements that are being planned.

What I want to know is; how much is it going to cost. With all the will in the world I cannot see how a consortium of a few hundred can find millions of eeks. smiley - yikes

But maybe it is a BBC April fools joke and they don't intend to sell, just wanted to see how much it is valued. smiley - biggrin

Nevertheless it is a resource that rivals Wikipedia, because it is different and readable.

I'm not the sharpest knife in the box; but five minutes explanation from a genius is worth a lifetime of struggle, through half baked ideas from those used to copying.

A lot of ideas in Wiki is like reading what is churned out from a machine gone mad. smiley - yikes
