I had a friend (one of the librarians at my school) a while back ... probably two years ... who said she was protesting. The way she told it, the protesters were actually being rather quiet, they'd all linked arms and - well, that was it - and it was the police who gave 'em a hard time ...
Then again, I wasn't there either. 
Just pointing out the other side of things.
