Heyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!! PEARL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fancy seeing you here! Although I've been wandering around the h2g2 website for about 6 hours, so I guess it was likely to see one of your postings.... Pfft, yeah, what's the deal with this h2g2 orchestra in England??? Let's you and me make our own group in the states, and we'll call it the Arabesque String Quartet, hahahaha

In the spirit of h2g2, the orchestra's very much trans-continental... groupings of people on h2g2 are always irrespective of geographical conditioning, other than those ones which are quite specifically geographical.

So you're quite welcome to join! (You too, Ilana, if you want to...)



We're not the "h2g2 orchestra", though... Joanna runs that, and it has no actual players. Or... it does, but they're hypothetical. It exists so that people can say things like... "A string quartet plays ominously in the background". we're the h2g2 /symphony/ orchestra, and we really do have really real players.

So.. yes. Please join!

Quite of the few members of the orchestra've talked about setting up quartets, trios, and ensembles out of existing orchestra members... if you'd like to set up a string quartet as part of the symphony orchestra, we'd be most honoured, especially if it'd actually rehearse or play in real life.
