I'd like to submit my own entry on Columbus, Ohio, USA.

Please submit comments on this entry to me as it was the first I wrote and it was a work in progress for a while.

I think the grammar and spelling are fine, but then again, I'm no lit major, I'm a programmer.

Sorry it has taken so long to get to you, and I am hurrying so I just skimmed through it, but it looks good, seems to cover the main points I wouldn't have thought that it should have any problems getting through the Peer Review and, eventually, becoming part of the Edited Guide Good first Entry Well, until later.....

Being a lifetime resident of Columbus myself, I'd have to say this is a very good brief synopsis of Cowtown. I highly recommend adding it to the Edited guide.

Also, for the Historical section, perhaps a line about James Thurber, the "humorist"/writer who seems to be our best "historical" claim to fame. Also, the recently closed "Kahiki" restaraunt on the east side was a national landmark... and there's also the replica of the Santa Maria downtown on the riverfront.

Finally, the only other thing I'd recommend adding is a bit about how fanatical Columbus residents seem to be about sports -- maybe its because we haven't had any pro teams until recently but OSU football is a city obsession (campus has had minor riots over both major wins AND losses on a few occasions), we used to obsess over the Chill (I still can't believe they folded). The Clippers are a Yankee farm team, and we've had numerous famous players play there at least a few times.

Well anyways, obviously an entry like this could go on FOREVER, and n_sani_t's article is a good brief run-down of our city.
