h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hi
I am looking for a guitar and banjo player who might be able to transcribe something for me. It would also be helpful if said person is a Crowded house fan
I would like to re-arrange the Crowded House song 'pineapple head' for banjo (as I think it would sound good) but as I don't know how banjos are tuned I can't do it myself!
Here is the guitar tab for the main motif that I'm interested in transcribing, as found on AZchords.com:

Capo 3rd fret.

3/4 time-I think. It may be 6/8. Not sure. There is a bit of a difference between the two.

i play banjo, im not sure if i could transpose it for you, but i can give you the tunning of the strings from the one closest to the floor up towards you
D,B,G,D,G, its in G tuning. I also play gutair as well.
