Imagine you have a block that is very large and a number of logs, 2 feet in circumference. If the block is on the logs and pushed, how far will the block move for each full turn of a log?

It's four feet,
The block will move forward over the logs two feet, whilst the logs themselves advance two feet.

assuming the logs are horizontal, less than two feet as you didn't say each log was two feel in circumfrence

If the answer is 4, then Whisky will get the point, not Niwt. Greebo only considers the first answer from each contestant. Niwt said 2 or 4, so Greebo will take 2 to be Niwt's answer.

I think the answer is 2, by the way, and can't see why it should be 4.

I did the experiment with a ruler and a coffee coaster. So I see it now. Yes, 4 is right.

Can I have a point for the hangover I had as a result of the Rugby on Saturday 20-14 to Ireland . Plus both my football teams having marvelous victories (Livingston 5-1 away at Kilmarnock, and Liverpool 4-0 at home to Leicester) I've only just recovered as we also celebrated FC's 21st which is on Wednesday as well.
