Take the initial letters from the capitals of these countries to make another capital. Which country has this capital?
Swaziland, Turkey, Isle of Man, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Bangladesh

Dare I point out that the Isle of Man is not a country, but a "internally self-governing dependent territory of the Crown which is not part of the United Kingdom"?
The capital's letters still spell the Spainish capital Madrid, though.

Is it really? I always thought it was a "a crown possession (since 1828) that is self-governing in its internal affairs under the supervision of the British Home Office".

How did that smiley get in there? It should have read (since 1828 ).

*waits to see who's right about the constitutional status of the Isle of Man .... and what those definitions mean exactly.*

Apparently on the Isle of Man it's still the law that you are required to shoot a scotsman on sight!

And in the enlightened UK, there is still the death penalty for paddling in the Thames under Westminster Bridge.

It's in Chester that it is still legal to shoot a Welshman with a bow and arrow, but only after sunset and only within the city walls!

All the Capital letters are: STIMSAPB ..there is no N and no D and no R so how does anyone get Madrid? Or even Spain?
Then again the letters STIMSAPB don't shuffle into much.
It's ST. BISMAP the capital of Uncharted Isle, a far way and long forgotten paradise so far off the beaten track no one has any need for maps.
Or ST. BISPAM, a shopping centre at the end of the info highway.
Or ST. PABMIS... PAMBIS ..PASMIB ..MIPSAB ..PIMBAS ..BISAMP
How about:
BISTAMPS.. PISSTAMB ..SPAMSTIB ..BITSMAPS

Doh!
Good eye Gnomon!
Yeah Baptisms! A capital idea.
Baptisms is the capital of ..Redemption?
No wait, those fonts (founts) that the holy water bowl sets on ..aren't they called capitals, at least the top stone of the column is the capital.

This is gonna be one of them "Gre(e)bo screwed up the question and is thinking of way to get out of it". Oooo, I hate those.
Baptisms is the only word those letters make (Right Gnomon?) so it has to be The Vatican, which, like the Isle of Man and San Marino, is a sovereign country.

*grin* It's OK, I've worked out how to get Spain from all the capital letters; from STIMSAPB, all the capital letters, the most common letter is S. What country has S as a capital letter? Spain is one of them.
