Oh super. My modem has broken so I've only just found your requests. Thank you so much, I'll ad you up straight away.
Richard, you could host a Q and A session sometime on something theoretical,
Annie, do you want to do a bit on binoculars?
Cheers,
Nick

I know absolutely nothing about binoculars, sorry, Nick. Except maybe which end to look through. I am much more interested in helping set up the Q & A session....{or quiz, whatever you had in mind!}
I'd like to join you.

I'd like to join too! I'm an amature astronomer, and my lifetime ambition is to see the Aurora (hence the name). I will take part in any discussion about the universe. I would have viewed the Persieds, but here in Scotland it was too cloudy all week. Hale-Bopp was the last great view in our sky.
I'd like to join you.
Yeliab {h2g2as} Posted Sep 1, 2000
Hay thanks. This is great.
The Q&A would be good.
I'll pop you all in. If there are any links you'd like on the page let me know.
Aurora, I've only seen aurora one this July and it was really good. At least youve got more chance being in Scotland, minus the wether of course.
I'd like to join you.
Metal Chicken Posted Sep 1, 2000
I'd like in on this project too please. The Perseids watch was fun - just knowing other crazy people were out there staring intently at the sky was an incentive to join in and report back.
My interests are comets and planets and meteor showers, all those wanderers amongst our stars. But I'm really a sucker for stargazing, whatever there is to see.
I'd like to join you.
Aurora Posted Sep 2, 2000
There was a weekend when the Aurora was supposed to be good in July, but, as usual, the clouds came just as it began to get dark. This was the cloudiest summer I can remember here, so there'll be more results in a while!

Oh, would anyone like to help me run this site? I really need a spellchecker!
Not that you aren't all helping, just my spelling is atrocious -you see?

Do you have a badge that I could stick on my userpage? If not, go to http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/archivepix.html and find a cool one to modify. http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap000821.html just happens to be my favourite (I wonder why...)!
