What fun smiley - smiley

You appear to be from Philly, yes? I went to Drexel for a bit. Haven't been back since. smiley - winkeye (It's odd, though. It's not like I have bad memories, in fact just the opposite. Just haven't had any good reasons to go back.)

Anyway, just stopping by to say hi. smiley - smiley

Another visitor! Look who's getting popular...

I have friends at Drexel. It's a nice little place; sort of in the shadow of Penn though. (In fact both the people I know there are trying to transfer) Any thoughts on the Philly article? Perhaps I will open up AIM. Then again maybe not.

Hehe, the shadow of Penn, yes. Penn is much larger of course. But Drexel has its uses (not for me, though, I only stayed a year). I glanced at the Philly article, lots of good stuff in there. I'll take another look in a bit.

If you signed on AIM at that point I probably was gone, sorry. But anyway.

And I was on then but happened to be out of the room for about 5-10 minutes, just enough time for me to miss you. Sorry.

American high school student who rides the DC metro? Apparently we have something in common (not to mention Tolkien!). Yeah, I grew up in Arlington, went to Yorktown high school. Now in college.

Anyway, hello and welcome, hope you have fun here on h2g2. See you around. Drop me a line if you have time.

We had a grade trip... it was awesome, and I love the metro.

Tolkien... oy. Sometime I'll come visit your page and we'll talk Tolkien. *looks towards the distant future, when she will have time to do such things*

Soon.

Hello! Checking in from Hershey PA. My wife went to Philadelphia College of Textiles and Sciences (but she's not snobby) smiley - winkeye

I enjoyed the Philly Cheese Steak entry very much! I worked at a restaurant at Hersheypark for a couple of years and we made ours with tomato sauce. Though I like them better with steak, cheese and onions.

Getting hungry. Must go now!! smiley - smiley

I've never been anywhere remotely within 3000 miles of any of these places, but hi anyway. So what exactly is it that you do, y'know recreationally? Other than have adventures.

Adventures... I go places... I meet people... I learn things...

It's hard to explain. smiley - smiley

Where are you coming from?

Well I'm in Dublin, and I was born here but I lived in Scotland for a while. This means I lack your intuitive understanding of baseball (hmm kinda like rounders smiley - smiley) but I do get soccer even though I find it pointless. Lacking adventures though, well recently anyway.

Well my newest one, this Sunday, is going to an extremely large protest in Washington DC, and meeting up with my firned from Virginia there.

Should be interesting, seeing as how we're both youngish, and don't know our way around. But it will be good.

There's got to be loads of interesting stuff to do in Dublin... come on. Live.

Soccer.football is much easier to udnerstand than is baseball. But the latter is much dearer to my heart. (In case you couldn't tell.) Oh well.

Well, y'know how it is, you go away for a mere 6 years, and when you come back everyone has jobs and no time for anything and half of them never speak to the other half anymore.

Hope the protest went well, what was it for (or against)?

Gordon
