Bullitt. A film made when:
If you were outside and you needed to call someone you used a payphone.
Phones had dials.
People smoked anywhere.
Hotels were still grimy and dingy.
Steve McQueen slept in paisley pyjamas.
Cop cars and ambulances had a proper siren and one revolving light.
Stretchers were two poles with a piece of canvas between them.
You didn't have to be a highly paid IT person to be able to afford to live in San Francisco.
There was a brand new way of sending pictures between cities called a Telecopier.
You could leave an unattended car outside an airport terminal.
You could still fly Pan Am.
Two people running around the taxiways and runways of an airport wouldn't trigger an automatic evacuation and lockdown.
And then there's that car chase

It looked good on paper - Samuel L Jackson, Robert Carlyle, Ricky Tomlinson, Meat Loaf, Paul Barber, and the opening seemed promising, but...
I turned it off after 15 minutes. Just awful.
