Hello! I'm relatively new to the Guide community, but helping edit my friends' work at university is something of a hobbysmiley - geek. In reading over the site recently, it dawned on me that volunteering for h2g2 is an excellent opportunity for me to do something productive during that time when I'm usually meandering through cyberspace while taking breaks from reading or writing about adverts and comparative politics. Anyway, to the point smiley - 2cents I volunteer to be a Sub-Editor!

Hey Adroit!

Many many thanks for volunteering to be a Sub-Editor for us. The best first stage to take is to spend a few weeks in our Peer Review forum, reading all of the entries that have been submitted there, contributing to the discussion threads, and spotting any grammatical mistakes you might find. By spending some time in PR, you'll get the best possible introduction to the kind of work you'll be asked to do as a Sub. Hopefully we'll see you in PR contributing to lots of the threads there in the very near future! smiley - smiley
