'Cosmo, Sub-Editor' ...Has a nice ring to it doesn't it?

I would love to help out with sub-editing, and whatever else I can. I love this guide and want to do whatever I can to make it better.

Hi, Cosmo!
As I said over on the thread for your application to be a scout - F48898?thread=572231&post=6441191 - it's usually a good idea for new h2g2 researchers to spend some time getting their feet wet around the site before signing on to volunteer.
If you're interested in being a sub-ed, some good things to do are to:
spend some time in Peer Review, getting an idea for the work that goes into entries before they are handed off to a sub-ed,
become familiar with the writing guidelines for the Edited Guide, and the Style Guidelines for sub-editors,
write more entries of your own, and take them through Peer Review.
I've seen your entry on action figures, and will try and comment over there soon.
Mikey
