Hi, I'm Chiners, Researcher 108495 and would like to volunteer my services as a sub-editor. I'm a sixth former and have edited the pupil newspaper (circulation 800 or so) for quite a while. I was advised by an English teacher I've showed h2g2 to spread my wings on something slightly larger that the school can provide...
What do you say??

I say great! First of all though it would be well worth getting involved in the Community more. If you'd like to concentrate on the editorial side of things, then it would be a good idea for you to spend some time in PeerReview. I'll put your name on the list and will let you know when I do my next round of recruiting
