I think I'd like to try out for this as well.
I'm not sure that I'd be any good, but I can learn I think. And I need the experince!

Well, if your Subbing is even a tenth as good as your Aceing, you'll be most welcome. 
I'll add your name to 'the list' and let you know when a vacancy comes up. All our Subs are really ploughing through their Entries, so we're okay at the moment.

If the entries are coming in thick and fast are there any plans to put more entries on the front page everyday? Especially at weekends...

That's a point we've often discussed, actually. At the moment, 5 seems to work very well - both for the number of staff we have, and the number of Entries people will probably get around to reading off the front page.

Ok that's fair enough.
As a researcher though I only read the ones that I'm interested in, so the amount there wouldn't make any difference to me. I understand it does to you over-worked italics though. *mops Chris's fevered brow*
