Mr. Dreadful - But really I'm not actually your friend, but I am...

Just a tad annoyed that the Daleks won't be in the new series.

I BELIEVE YOU ARE MISTAKEN, LATEST REPORTS SAY THE DALEKS WILL BE BACK IN 2005, I HEARD THEY WERE TO GOLD, BUT ELSEWHERE I SAW A PICTURE AND THEY ARE JET BLACK, AND CAN NOW FLY, DUNNO WHICH ONE IS CORRECT

At the time of my original post the Daleks were not appearing as negotiations had broken down between the BBC and Terry Nation's estate.

Oh, if you look on the the left hand side of your keyboard you'll find the "caps lock" key.

They're actually bronze in colour. You can see a picture of the new dalek here:

It's definately looking like a climactic final battle between the doctor and the daleks to finish the series.

Who do we think the self proclaimed "god of the daleks" is?
My money is definately on Davros.

I doubt either the doctor or Rose will die in this episode as both Christopher Ecclestone and Billie Piper were offered a second series and declined it so I heard.

I'm going with the Borad. Just because he's blue.

I can't see the daleks worshipping anything as a god unless it's their creator.

The only entity slimy enough to persuade them otherwise, might just be the Master.

Or the Gastropods, they were pretty slimy.

RTD has officially denied that Bad Wolf is the Master, this may be a red herring but I think the Master would be far too obvious to even consider.

...and would require a huge info-dump to introduce the character to people who have never seen the series before.

Whereas the Emperor Dalek could quite easily be shoehorned into the plot, a big leader doesn't need any backstory other than being big and a leader.

Exactly. As far as casual vewiers are concerned, a boss is just a boss.
