I wasn't going to work on this update, as I've only played PlayStation 2 once, but then I searched h2g2 and found quite a bit more information about it, so I gathered it all together and wrote this.

I'm not a Play Station player, I've always had Nintendo, so I'm not really familiar with this.

'The PlayStation 2 Multitap was a device that enabled games for up to four players as it allowed four controllers and four memory cards to be connected at once.'
How many controllers could you connect without that device (2?)?
Why would you want to add 4 memory cards? In the paragraph above this it sounds like the memory card is a part of the console which is fixed somewhere inside.

Also how much memory would an average game need if one card can hold 8MB?

Could you also tell something about the graphics? I guess it was 3d?

The games section seems a bit short for me, but not sure if others agree about that.

This is definitely an improvement on the original.

There is a sentence that I found a bit of a clunker (let me know if you agree) 'The first thing most people said about it was that it was the same as the old controller, but it wasn't.'

I think I'd be inclined to rephrase that one – perhaps say that although designed to look and feel exactly like the original PlayStation's controller, and so feel natural to the legion of PlayStation's gamers, it was in fact revolutionary – and then go on about the analogue buttons bit?
