This is an old entry I found that I think worthy of the EG. The author is gone now but the entry is still great.

The entry needs a deal of grammatical proof-reading. As well, the history of the region between Old Testament times and the fall of "the Ottoman" is glossed over rather quickly but has a great bearing on the present situation of the state of Israel.

The person who wrote it is gone now, so they can't do anything to it. I think a sub needs to get their hands on it and give it a good working over.

Looking at it, it looks like more than I would want to ask a sub to take on. If you're wanting this entry to make it through PR, it might be worthwhile to go to testA429400, copy the GuideML, and paste it into a new entry of your own so that you can do whatever edits are needed and then submit that version to Peer Review.

That being the case, I'd like to move that we move this thread out of PR. If and when you create a new entry out of this one (remember, you can just go to test429400 for the GuideML), you can submit that entry to PR. How does that sound?
Any seconders?

And oops! Now the entry has been moderated out of existence. And since the author's long gone, I don't know that we have any hopes of finding out why or of being able to copy the old text.
Even more reason to move the thread out of PR, then, I guess....

Anyone know why this was modded? I'd quite like to take this over (obviously taking out the bad bits)

I assume it was plagiarised, but didn't see the entry...

This shouldn't still be here.
Thanks for bumping up the thread - I'll post to the group now.

Can't see the point of this. It's hidden. Still.

Don't worry, the Scouts have asked for it to be moved from PR.
