Wow, thanks Pseudemys. They told me the standard of editing was variable at best around these parts, but I think this one makes the grade. I like the way you've seamlessly combined my biographical stuff on Orwell with two or three other people's work, mainly on the novels themselves, and then used one of my spare paragraphs as the introduction to their stuff. I could hardly spot the joins myself...
All the best, Lear.

I'm going to have to echo the above sentiment. (Makes a hollow-shaped object with reflective sides, shouts previous message into it).
No, seriously, it's cool the way you've got my stuff to fit with everyone else's. K.U.T.G.W.

Yes, I'm going to have to agree, it is rather well done.. .. But I didn't get an E-Mail to tell me an entry with bits of my babbling had been approved. Confusing. Aah well, doesn't matter, my brain's re-arranged itself already, no harm done.

Maybe you gave the h2g2 potsmaster some obscure old email address that you haven't used for ages, and possibly can't even remember the existence of. I do this quite often - I find it's generally the best way to fend off the advances of web-based companies that you won't necessarily want to have anything to do with come six month's time or so. Not that I feel this way about h2g2 of course...

I have heard little of the h2g2 potsmaster. All I can assume is that this entity is in charge of the culinaryware that goes to sustain the editors of the guide.
Luckily, e-mail from the Guide is sparse enough not to present a problem to my Inbox, so it is OK to use a current address. For instance, I submitted (using the old system) some pages about three or four months ago that I still haven't heard back on. But, as they say in England, c'est la vie.
Key: Complain about this post
